Origin:
Born in Bendigo when his family resided at McCrae Street, he was one of 11 children.

Occupation:
Recorded on his marriage certificate in 1894 and on the Electoral Roll in 1899 he was listed as a Carpenter.

His Marriage:
Cornelius married Elizabeth Jane Thomas from Bendigo, born about 1870.  They were married on 3 October 1894 at Bendigo in a Catholic ceremony.  Their witnesses were Cornelius's brother John James and his sister Isabella.

Funeral Notice - 19 January 1919:
From the Bendigo Advertiser 1919:

"Driscoll - The friends of Mr Cornelius Francis Driscoll are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his dearly beloved wife (Elizabeth Jane), to the Bendigo Cemetery.  The funeral will leave his residence, 94 Sternberg Street, This day (Tuesday), the 19th at 3 o'clock,  Fizelle and Mulqueen Funeral Directors, Bridge Street. Tel. 173"

Funeral:
Details of Cornelius's funeral from the records of Fizelle and Mulqueen:

"Roman Catholic.  Living at Sternberg Street, Bendigo, aged 45.  Informant's name John Driscoll.
Funeral date 14 January 1921.  The funeral was on a Friday with a Priest as the officiating minister.
He was in a polished Coffin with a false lid.  The Hearse was a coach."

Burial Location:
Cornelius is buried at the Bendigo Cemetery in section K6, plot number 24383, buried 14 January 1921 aged 45 years.
Preceding him and buried with him is his wife Elizabeth Jane on 19 April 1919 aged 49 years.
